Had a run out today ,was hoping for a few more as had a 'shiny ' run planned but it was just WCORC again
Just looks like another slope with snow ? nope this was at half 3 on the way home, kaz lost the back wheel over the downside edge of the rut going up and got hooked up under a tree.
Took us an hour to get winched round to go back down ! No traction at all as it started to freeze .
Interesting comparison here though - I am on 33x 12.5 kumhos that are part worn and Kaz is on 285/75/16 BFG muds , this lane is a sharp turn off the main road so you go up from a standing start , like in 1st high the trooper goes up ok ,some throttle control wanted so you dont brake traction but the landy allways spins out on the lower part when its wet but will get going again in low box 2nd gear with center diff locked , I rekon the kumhos bite the sides of the ruts being a bit wider but the same thing happened when I had some 33" AT's on .
Makes me think the isuzu / kumho has more grip ?
Was good fun though ! _________________ 2 New Troopers ! |
