Hi all,

I'll be going to Briercliffe this Sunday with my brother. Anybody else planning on going?

If you see us. Come and say hello  Very Happy

Hopefully I wont need to be pulled out by any pajeros now I've got my new mud tyres on.

Frank

We don't seem to have any luck recently  Crying or Very sad

Cam belt went on the M66 on the way there. I hope it hasn't done any serious damage - I'll find out when I get the new belt on it in the week.

I hope that these engines can withstand a broken cam belt without bending valves or doing other internal damage. I have tried reading around and seem to hear conflicting information so I'll just wait and see.

I was hoping to buy a winch next month but now I have to get this sorted. I cant work out why it went, it was a reletively new belt and none of the pulley bearings seem tight. I'm wondering if it was mud from Tong that got inside the cam belt cover.

Darren left me at the side of the road (Top Gear style) and carried on. He said it was good, but he wasn't there for long before he did a driveshaft (The same one as last time  Exclamation ) I think we have got two problems that we need to think about now Embarassed

It's all part of the steep learning curve thats off roading though  Laughing
