i cut the back of the plastic cubby hole under the radio which allowed the CB to fit in rather well and flush with the dash. _________________ www.independentisuzu.co.uk |

I have just bought one and i think thats going in the dash £27 Not the best in the world but it'll do it's job (i'll have to lose my clock but it's aftermaket anyway)
Last time i fitted one i put the coax through the top of passenger side door and sometimes when it rained it poured in I don't want to drill the roof(or anywhere else for that matter) Where are you running yours Jase? Or anyone else for that matter? Sorry for Hijacking But it is relevent if your fitting one too _________________

That is a definate option Adam I just need something there to mount it on, I wonder if a clamp on the ladder would do the trick? _________________

I run mine the same as adz and no leaks, I never bothered with swr as its a pre-tuned (apparently) never had problems though _________________ |

Another question, I bought an aerial mount for my Modulator whip and the guy that sold it me said if i extend the cable i'll never get it swr'd properly. Any truth in this? It'll never reach back door to dash if i don't _________________

I have an extension on my cable Dylan and have no issues, my sets good for a good few miles, tried and tested. _________________
