Believe me m8 it is so easy square place trimmed down to shape with hack saw , 2 l brackets for the back holes for the front if you want to be technical weld the bolts in place to the front if not just simple bolt with locking nut.

And to get the shape stand on it to bend lol it's that easy

Ooooops, I pm'd Darren by mistake (doh). Could you send me a copy of the dimensions & pics for your bash plate. I don't think I'll get on to it for a while yet but it would be useful to have the info to hand so I can source the steel / ally sheet meantime.

Many thx

Paul

Had a few requests for the dimensions so here are some more pics,

I am adding more further back from this soon but this works great only mod I will make is a strength bar down the centre as this particular thickness of sheet was vibrating at low revs , but does the job well.

Took off to repaint and clean up which is a once a year job

cheers buddy - looks straight forward
why did you weld the 2 bolts in situ and are the bolt holes already in place on the chasis or did you need to drill any new ones

thanks

Welded the bolts in place on the front so they drop in from above to the rear of the engine guard that is standard on all troops makes fitting easy drop those in fix bolts to rear and it sits in place while you fix it plus gives continuous cover underneath

If you look at the very first pic you can see where the fixed bolts drop into , the whole thing is fixed without drilling anything, just make 2 L shaped brackets to fix to fittings already in place just a matter of loosening a nut to fix in place easy really
