Been up to north derbyshire this weekend to do some lanes and it looks like there shutting most of em!
Has anyone any idea what's going on I've not been up for couple of years, but stanage had got big concrete bollard across it and two more lanes had got notices on them saying there about to shut under some conservation of plant life Bull *beep*.
Is there anything we can do to stop it or is it to late?

Yeh fair enough for stanage but what about the others were loosing for good, beginning of the end me thinks .

This was mentioned a few months ago. They are closing them for the winter to allow for maintenance and natural recovery I believe.

Hope that's all it is, they were only closing chapel gate for few months then applied for extension and got it

there is a protest being organised in the near future don,t no dates yet its on northern monkeys site
