Hi all,

Went on the kielder forest trail yesterday in the snow and it was my first time going off road.
Ive been bitten by the bug and want to take it to an off road track where u pay for the day and do your own thing. Ive searched on-line and cant find much information.
Does anybody know of any decent places near Newcastle upon tyne?

Thanks
Dave

yes there's one up next to me in stanley called 'PEA FARM' it's where i started/learnt ....which is'nt probably a good advertisment from those that no me lol ......keilder (in my opinion) is a waist of money ..as your just driving on forrestry tracks .....what state is your troop in ... i.e modifications or just standard ??? ............ another option if your up here (your location say's way down south) is to come out for a day's laning which i'm hoping to sort out soon ..... the problem with pea farm is they let bikes on at same time as trucks which is never a good thing but if you want i'll gladly take you up there and take you round (i no the site very well) .... it's only a small site (about 50 acres) but plenty to give a novice a day out and find out what their truck is capable of .........your best of going with someone who know's the site so they can steer you away from the nasty bits or you could end up spending most of the day stuck lol  Wink
