Went to Farley quarry last weekend and they've put their prices up so it's now £35.
£35, and they've roped off some of the best bits as they're "too dangerous" and they've "had a few rollovers".
Excuse me but isn't it supposed to a bit dangerous and challenging? Maybe just some warning signs would've been enough.
I've done all these sections in a Daihatsu Sportrack with no probs. before so know they're allright.
What you're left with for your £35 is a course which can mostly be done in a Ford Focus and becomes very boring after only a couple of hours.
Better, in my humble opinion, to get a few people togethr, spend the money on fuel and have a nice day in the country green-laning.
Rant over.

Yeah, I hate being "protected" for "my own good".
I know it's surprisingly easy to roll over a car if you get it wrong but that's how it is!
The daft thing is, a Suzuki 4x4 rolled over right onto it's roof that day on a very easy, short descent. He just turned the wheel a little too far the wrong way, hit a very small rock and bingo. I saw it all happen in front of me. So, how far do they go next? Tarmac the whole area, perhaps?
Maybe they should offer some instruction to newbies and insist on seatbelt use rather than rope off large sections for everyone.
I really don't want to damage my car if I can help it and I try not to but, if I do, I'll not cry about it - that's the hobby I've chosen to do and, like any other hobby, it'll inevitably cost me time and money.
I don't think I'll bother with so-called offroad centres in future unless they let you get on with it - I'll stick to the green lanes for free and some that I know are more difficult than you might think so the challenge is still there.

Nice pics. there, matey.
I'll probably try that place out - especially if you're organising a day's hire of the place.
