You dont re-index the bars unless you need to go higher and have run out of adjustment  Rolling Eyes
Imagine a torsion bar as just a bar, its the end bit that adjusts not the bar itself.
As for handling it will be firmer on the front because of the angle of the wishbones, independant4x do a spacer for the ball joints so you dont have to crank it up as much.

As Mark has already said the front is a lot firmer after the lift due to the wishbones pointing down instead of being level. After I lifted my first truck 1-2", it did feel a little unstable, but you will get use to it, just take it a bit slower. give it time.

You should not need to flip the front ball joint unless you go over 2" in height.

The ball joint spacer does not increase height, it just increases down travel.  Wink

Ive not got the spacers myself but the site says it corrects camber and gives a softer ride, I read that as you dont have to crank it as much to get the same lift ?
Another bonus would be CV angles  Idea

I've got the ball joint spacers fitted on mine, they help a little with the camber and means my front suspension still has a good amount of droop even with 3 inch lift, also got the low profile droop snubbers in there. As for feeling unstable  Shocked  mine feels ok, little more body roll but no surprise there! handles well for the size and weight (weighs much more then standard)

I really cannot stress this enough........

Any adjustment of the front suspension WILL throw the tracking out, and by quite a sizeable amount by the time you've lifted 2 inches. So get it re-checked.

ALSO if you do not re-set the anti roll bar ( as described in the article ), then the front end will duck and dive, and oversteer will be a problem

Save it onto your desk top by right clicking and selecting "save target as" - then select your desktop area and click save. Go to your desktop and click the link and see what happens then...

It should have been saved as a Word Doc in 2003....

I have no idea why Adobe Reader is getting involved - something amiss somewhere....

If that doesn't work, PM me your email address and I'll send it to you   Wink
