I want to fit a winch to front of my trooper has anyone got any designs sizes or winch tray to fit behind the bumper it's a 2000 lwb trooper 3.0l

I made this but added 2 uprights to line up with the horizontal holes already at the front of the Chassis, the plate itself is bolted to the 2 recovery hook mounts and I moved the recovery point forward. I used 8mm Steel plate for the construction.

I do like that how far does it stick out, same winch as mine as well, could you possible give me the dimensions for it as I would like to get one made, unless you have one to sell

I built the same tray but mod it to work with tube bumper ..

Thats how the one I made looked, started with a universal winch mount, bracket either side where bumper bolts to the chassis, box section between them and braced to the end of the chassis rails.

Ideas yes help not so much hence I'm asking for some, was after some dimensions for the plate and wether people have sleeved mounts to the inside of the chassis tubes or to the outside etc. and if anyone's run into any problems? Any help given would be greatly appreciated

it's all pretty self explanitery once you get the bumper off, I've done half a dozen or so hidden mounta now so any questions, fire away. Plate needs to be wide enough to sit on the chassis legs and obviously deep enough for the winch to sit on. I'll try and find some pics of brackets etc. is it going on a 3.0?
