ok guys need a little advice

as some of you know i bought a truck with a blown turbo, we changed the turbo and all was ok, we started with a small leak found out it was the water pump and changed it a couple of weeks ago since we have had a water pipe burst which we changed it has lasted a week and another pipe has burst any suggestions what would cause this would be much appreciated all the pipes arent going hard but it has been stood for over a year the first pipe was the one that runs under the intercooler and the second hose which i am gonna change tomorrow is at the back above the gearbox

Regards

Sam

Cut a bit off the old pipe and slice it open and fold it back ,if its all cracks and splits its just age and some or all may go but if the rubbers nice and bendy then you need to check for cooling system pressure rising .

i thought if it was a pressure issue it would have blown a front top pipe before the ones it has blown ?

You still have pressure in the system, the rad cap blow off is about 12/13 psi  but if hoses are old and weak then they will go at the weakest point below and up to that pressure.........hope that makes sense  Smile
