after replacing the rear bearings, thought it was a good idea to free up the breather. Not long ago I removed the exhaust damper(eng warm up) I now have two vac lines headed fwd ending up around the brake booster. ...Has anyone used this to vent the rear dif? after removing the vac source??? just a thought...

Well I had the new bearings and seals for over a year but once I got to it the retainer was only a third of the length that it should have been, the parts store was good they let me return them. Then I ordered from milners, all the correct parts made it across in 4 days,. The old retainer was a dog to remove I used a plasma cutter and on the bearings as well. Once cleaned up between the oven and frezzer things went together fair.  Now I am working on the exhaust its 2 thirds complete a stainless magna flow system. All new brakes as well ...

PS the old gear oil, what a smell, synthetic in now...

ah ok - so is it supposed to go up to the engine bay , I was thinking of a shorter pipe just tie tag it along the chassis , but I guess it needs to be in a drier place

d12- finally located the pipe its only 12 inches long but totally blocked up , looks like the remains of what ever it connects to is stuck in there.

so I,m guessing you mean b&q diy store , do you know the size and length needed to take it up all the way to the engine bay.

thanks for the help
