After selling my 3.1 and buying a 3.5 I am having too much fun! I tracked my primera GT a couple of years ago at japfest. Now I'm thinking I might take my bighorn round, partly for comedy and partly because I think it will fo relatively well.
I've got a stainless catback fitted and a hks mushroom on its way. Anything else you can think to boost power or handling would be much appreciated |

You can get superchargers from the states if you want to be really crazy. _________________ 1990 Isuzu Bighorn LWB Mk.I 2.8TD Manual Lotus Edition

That's interesting as I was searching through Google and found an articles out superchargers on vehicross in Australia. Couldn't find a kit for sale though.
Am I right in thinking that the 3.5 already has forged internals due to it being stroked from a 3.2? |

I wouldn't know. What I do know is you have to be very careful to keep on top of the servicing of the 3.5. They can throw a hissy fit of the oil is left for too long. Also make sure you use the right coolant and change it regularly. _________________ 1990 Isuzu Bighorn LWB Mk.I 2.8TD Manual Lotus Edition

Ok thank you, it is definitely due a service. Runs well but uses some oil (believe they all do?)... I'm contemplating having it terracleaned and doing a complete fluid change as it does work hard with trailers etc... |
