Hi guys, just changed the battery on my 2007 3.0l auto due to general age, (had to do the old 24hr disconnect fix to get the windows working again) any way the orange engine check light randomly flashes on attempted start up and wont let the motor start, sometimes it will turnover but not start, other times you have to flick the key on and off a few times to get it to turn over, once you have done this sometimes once or up to three times the check light starts operating normally (as in its on with all the other dash lights and the truck then starts as normal, once started it drives fine with no issues, sometimes it will behave all day other days it will play up. Makes no difference if the truck is hot or cold. The truck has occasionally done this over the 4 years of ownership but perhaps only 3 times in a year and then it only takes one flick of the key to correct it, however since the change of battery its been more persistant. Just wondering if it may be a crank/cam sensor playing up?? it seems like something doesn't set it self once the motor is turned off??

Any Clues??
