2006 2.5 rodeo egr blanking

Hi all just brought a 2006 rodeo with a 2.5 engine.

How abouts do i remove the egr as it looks absolutely smothered in soot.

Any help would be much appreciated

i think the rodeo is clever enough to know when you have blanked it off but if you want to try it then just pull the vac pipe off and block it up the egr should be in the closed position anyway unless it's stuck open slightly but it would run rough if it was
