Hi, I bought a 1999 Trooper 3.0 diesel SWB recently and I noticed today when removing the radiator cap with the engine absolutely cold that there was some pressure in the system. Also I have noticed that the coolant water bottle next to the radiator has obviously been blowing some coolant out. However I drove it for over a hundred miles yesterday and the temperature gauge stayed steady at around the middle of its range and there was no apparent overheating.

Is this normal or should I be worried?? Any comments would be appreciated!

Thanks. I soke to the local repair man, he says almost definitely cylinder head gasket  - so spend a lot of money or try K-Seal or equivalent= Think I might give that a go!!!
