Hi there, fitted a remote keyless entry system to the car the other day so I can now lock/unlock it remotely.
However when I unlock it the alarm goes off.
Does anyone know how to either integrate it or disable the system, I still have the immobiliser.
Please feel free to PM me if you don't want to broadcast the info. Thanks

Wait, did you fit it in properly? Try taking it out and fitting it in again. Might have been a loose part. |

it's because it's not seeing the switch move on the back of the lock when it sees the central locking actuator move, you sure your car didn't come with a fob as standard and some one lost it? |

Good question, I've always assumed not as it came with 3 immobiliser fobs. how could I tell.
What year did they start fitting keyless entry systems? |

The fob just does the central locking which turns the alarm off the immob is different system. Depends on the spec for the remote locking but it was quite early when it came through as standard rather than a dealer fitted option |
