I have 3 troopers, one on a 51 plate has had a hard start issue for a while. I finally got the injector seals done after fuel was dumped in the oil. Still hard start and two weeks later, major fuel in oil. So, as a stop gap, I have taken the injectors out of a 2000 plate, dual mass flywheel gone, another story, recall done, all matching injectors with the Q codes NOT numbers, and replaced with new seals in the 51 plate. Seals £71.08 Isuzu no longer do the kit apparently. Anyway all now running fine.
My question is, can anyone tell me anything about the odd set of injectors installed. 2 with Q codes 2 with numbers (8971925961/170114RL03 8971925963/200114RL05). IM Group say the recall was done, but I have my doubts. _________________ Insanity now confirmed.... Now back to owning three of these lovely beasts.... |

isuzu still do the seals for the injectors as it's all we use and we don't have trouble getting them, you need to go by the serial number so look just below the barcode on the injector and it will look like 0000123456, as long as it's above 554264 then they should be the modified type but even those are now putting the diesel in the oil |
