Hello,
I have just joined this page looking for some advice on my recently bought Isuzu trooper,
I was driving on the m3 doing 70mph on the way home and suddenly I heard a bang and lost all power.
The next day after getting it towed back to home I wanted to see what the problem was after being told it was more than likely the cam belt that blown, I took the cover off and the cam belt is fine but I noticed oil was pouring out of the turbo and I think the inter cooler as well.
Any suggestions on diagnosing the problem would be great fully appreciated.
Many thanks,
Tom |

Not really no, just tried starting it again and found it runs but sounds like a tug boat and the engine looks like it’ll rattle itself to pieces |

if the oil level is ok then check the impeller in the turbo for play, i suspect it has sheared off the exhaust side and pumped oil straight in to the intake via the intercooler |
