Has any one fitted one of these accessory kit remote C/L to their Trooper. There are quite a few on eebuygum for £20 - £30.

Ive thought about one of these kits on @bay for £29.99 they should work ok, just wire it up to the driver motor on the drivers side, allthough if your factory fitted alarm works it might not set it as you have to turn the key in the drivers door to set the alarm. Smile

I bought one about a year ago & still haven't fitted it.....

Mine is a 2 wire output, but the driver's lock key actually has 4 wires coming from it, lock/unlock & alarm set/unset. I figure it'll need a relay to ensure that both circuits are activated/deactivated when you press the appropriate button....

I have a 1990 mk1. You get used to having suck things as blip locking and as I have recently changed I now miss that function
