Hi,

Hoping someone can help. The central locking has packed up on my 96 3.1 troop.

I will explain the symptoms.

Drivers Lock will lock and unlock drivers door only, Central locking button on drivers door console will lock and unlock drivers door only.

Passenger door lock will lock and unlock Passenger door and drivers door. Central locking button will do the same.

Boot door will not unlock or Lock with the above actions.

I checked the fuse in the drivers footwell, the central locking buttons on the door consoles will not operate at all if the fuse is dead. I was thinking perhaps it could be a relay problem in the either of the door consoles.

Anybody seen this issue before and know of an answer.

Thanks in advance
Marek

I have a question, if anyone with a 3dr with central locking can help.

If you operate the door lock on the drivers side, does the relay in passenger door do anything? Mine doesnt and I'm wondering if this is the problem, or if this is normal behaviour.
