I found out about this manual a few months ago and since have downloaded it all. It's a great manual for doing any work on the 2.8TD and it is much better then an owner's manual. Definitely a quality workshop manual and is a factory Isuzu one at that. There really is no better one than this one. A great find!

hi  Very Happy i am about to replace timing belt on 2.8 td and can`t get the crankshaft pully off  Confused  do I have to turn the bolt to loose it LEFT OR right ( dont know if its left threded or right ) Shocked  Thanks

SHould be a normal right hand thread - noramlly they are very tight though - Im the past I've out cars in gear to act as a lock - as soon as you've cracked the nut though - put the locking kit in place Wink Very Happy

I've never done a 2.8 though - only a 3.1

you undo the four small bolts not the large centre bolt
