A positive note for a change on the 4JX1 engine. My 2002 3.0 engine started to show oil level rising. I had not received any letter from IM so called local dealer who contacted IM and arranged for me to jump the queue. Injectors and sleeves changes out and the heater fix done all FOC and within a week of calling them.
There is hope!

now you have had a month with the work done do you notice any differance cheers frankie |

Sorry for delay in reply - on hols.
Yes I did notice a change after getting injectors done - it was harder to start!
Local mechanic had a look over, most of the garages in this area won't even take Troopers in now for diagnostics - they take too much time, too unreliable, hard to diagnose etc.
So, bit the bullet and sold the old girl. Sad to see her go, but I need reliable transport so decision had to be made.
Hopefully Nissan will be reliable.........

mines had injectors changed. after one week , have noticed no change what so ever 8) my baby flys  |
