Has anyone ever fitted 15" x 9" rims which Im told will hold a 285/70/15 tyre to a 3.1 swb jap made bighorn?
If I need to lift the suspension, I will, but I dont want to go more than 2" lift. The motor is my daily transport, but do 10-20% off roading on soft sand which is why I was going down the road of a wider tyre.Maybe this is wrong, I dont know. I've got to start some where.
If I do have to lift the suspension, will I have to go for a longer shock in front? On the rear, I need to change the springs anyway as they are sagging a little. Is it a heavier/stiffer spring or a longer spring Im looking for and will the shocks also have to change, ie longer stroke.
regards
Tony. |

You will get away with a couple of inch lift all round, without messing with the shocks _________________ |

On the front yes, as for the back, just whip the bottom bolt of the shocker and see how much travel is left _________________ |
