Hi all long time no post. we have still got our wonderful 1997 isuzu bighorn lotus se 3.1 td auto and a few problems have occured recently.  firstly when we engaged 4w drive(select neutral and then move the small gear lever through tod then into 4w) dash board lights for 4wd only flash and no 4wd drive engaged(rear wheels spin only, no drive to front wheels).  When we try TOD the same happens lights flash but no drive to front wheels.  this was checked by our local garage who say that the 4wd mechanical system is ok it must be a vacum or relay problem.

Secondly, today we have had the "check light" flash on 4wd lighting display whilst we were driving, checked handbook, restarted vehicle, no check light flashing.

unknown to us we purchased off of eebuygum a cdrom manual which we have found inadequate and not user friendly pse pse pse can someone suggest a paper manual(like my paper not pc) for my specific vehicle.  My partner has a basic understanding of vehicles but seems to be a bit lost with this.

Many thanks in advance

Eve
