jonnie everyone well nearly everyone thinks that there bike is the best there is so you just got to make your own opinions whats best ( for you ) as you know there all kinds of reasons for owning a bike and what it will be used for,as for myself I will enjoy all the tinkering first then it will be a case of out for the sunday basts and maybe some weekend camping.

I have had around 30 bikes, my faves where my offroad Honda CR125 (race prepped and rather highly strung!) and my Suzuki GSXR750's (had 3) the most fun being the WT last of the carb ones. I also had a bandit 600 + 1200 that was a lot of fun! I'm seriously considering getting another bike for the summer, but nothing too mental, maybe another bandit 600? Needs to be fairly decent on fuel and not so slow to put me to sleep!

I've got a '87 Beemer K100 RT (bought it off my father-in-law just before he died, no expense spared by him in making it look factory new) and a '86 K100 RS - a scruffier machine and I'm really a little too rotund for the RS riding position nowdays.   Smile

This is my daily commute, a 1998 carb Blackbird, has done 1,000 miles a month for the last 3 years.
Now at 53,000miles and never missed a beat.

Also been to Chernobyl and back on a charity ride....no it's not radioactive! Wink
