breathers is probs the next job, but been told it not a good idea to run them into the snorkel as it creates a mmm.... think he said negative pressure in the axles and that puts pressure on the seals in them. or something to effect anyway.
so not sure where to rum em yet. they high'ish now as I made sure of that when I got the car but yeah they have to go higher now _________________

Hi Si, I'm guessing that is a Disco snorkel, any chance of seeing what you've done under the bonnet & what model Disco was it from? It looks the part for sure.

If you come laning with us in February the first river crossing has a choice of two routes. Deep or shallow (obviously )
The shallow is fine for any 4x4 and the deep should only be attempted if you know how to "bow-wave" or have a snorkel so, if you come with us, you could show-off, I mean, try it out, there. 8) _________________ 1994 BIGHORN 3.1TD LOTUS

Snorkel's a bit flash for the rest of the car isn't it Seriously though, it looks much better than my homemade ones, nice one
I've run both axle breathers upto the top of the engine bulkhead & fitted small filters on them. I used microbore copper from the rear axle all the way underneath just like the brake pipes. Works well and no more blocked breathers Mini breather filters off eebuygum for a couple of quid.
Now all you need is one of my winch bumpers _________________ 1994 KZJ70 Cruiser (currently filling the garage and causing some head scratching)

I can see it gets used a bit You will still be holding your breath when you get in deep though
How good a fit is it on the outside of the wing? There is a nasty step formed on an otherwise slab side, did you need to mod the mounting plate at all? And how flexible is the snorkel top? Looks like you need to be careful of low branches, just like I have to be _________________ 1994 KZJ70 Cruiser (currently filling the garage and causing some head scratching)

fit is actually really good I was a bit as to how good the fit turned out,
and yes need to keep a look out for branches it'll either pull the top off or break the snorkel |
