Fuel tank (3L TD 2000 Trooper).

| Dab. Just noticed damp patch on drive at rear of the vehicle. Waxoil appears to be melting on metal plate cover which protects the tank; looks like a diesel drip is the cause. Any experience of fuel tanks corroding at such an early stage, or is there another more likely reason? |

Mine weeps a bit where some flexible tube is pushed over the metal tube from the tank.
You can see it from the front of the tank with the guard in place.
Worth a look. |
