I wanted a 2nd battery for running a fridge, and possibly a winch in the future.
There was a big hole in the engine bay crying out for a 2nd battery.
So I made up some sheet metal work
The bolts to the inner wings go into captive threads that were already there.
The Vertical bolt into the inner wing was already there too.
I just drilled two holes in the bulkhead.
I had a 2nd hand battery so I've thrown it in temporarily
If that battery isn't up to it, there should be just enough room to sqeeze in a 110A/H leisure battery in the future.
Split charge and 2nd fuse box next.

I thought the non-imports were parellel batteries ?
If they are - thats no good, as I want to run it flat keeping my beer cold in the fridge.
I'll do updates when I get the split charge and fuse box in.

I'm waiting for an order of wiring bits to drop.
But I decided for the sake of £50 I'd throw away the old car battery.
I've fitted a 110AH deep cycle leisure battery.
The photo doesn't do it justice - its a huge battery.
