Well My BigHorn was never meant to go off-road, towing and stuff yes. But not off-roading, as I've got other vehicles for that.
However I got a call saying, nice easy day, bring the kids, have a brew - it'll be fun - indeed it was.
So we headed off to Salisbury Plain. I met up with the rest of the pack at Stonehenge.
Despite top of the range SatNav.....
The navigation was pretty difficult, through grassy fields that are rights of way that boarder firinging ranges, thankfully I had 100% confidence in the lead vehicle.
the 'Horn aquited itself really well, just one "off"
The track had a bad camber, and I slipped down. This is how it felt
..but my mate was tilting the camera and it wasn't that bad. But a roll-over would have seen me roll onto a row of steel fence posts, so winches won over valour. A ground anchor and a winch grabbed me back onto track
Other than that - a fairly straightforward day out.
Group photo
I'd not seen this place before, despite being on the 'Plain many times before - 20+ tanks all lined up for target practice
There was a bunker were the carnage could be witnessed from - wierd place
I'm not sure it was the best route for an Isuzu day out, but I might be tempted to sort something out.......

Looks like superb fun - and probably an ideal meeting place for some of the guys located a little further south. Why not organise a day and get a write up organised??? You could end up in Total Offroad etc! _________________ Isuzu Rodeo Denver Max LE | 265/65R18 BF Goodrich AT LTM No.60
