|
im currently using shell extra diesel in my trooper and it seems to love it, using other brands mine would only return an average of 25 mpg, using the shell extra ive suddenly gone up to 31mpg
just seems to run so much better and also the engine seems quiter in running
has anybody else noticed this _________________ atb kevin

It must have a higher Cetane rating and be more efficient _________________ |

Is that the ordinary diesel or the power variety, I forget the brand name, as Marky said the cetane level is higher. _________________ Every time I learn something new, it pushes some old stuff from out of my brain.

In the uk fuels are lower in cetane(diesel) and octane(petrol) than they are in japan, thats why all the subaru sti import owners have to use the higher grade shell and octane boost to avoid engine damage.
But this does not apply to the uk spec motors _________________ |
