As suggested elsewhere, that the the tweeters may be prewired on the Troopers, I have found that my Monterey seems to be wired so, around the mirror area, are these wired at the head unit end or are just in place for a upgrade with amps and such like?

should be wired to the door speakers and from there to the head unit
