shell v power diesel

We passed through Sheff again today and put V Power in this time, the ordinary Shell diesel didn't last that long but I put that down to racing a V8 RangeRover on our way back home he left me at the start of the dual carrige way but I caught him up and was doing 120+ by the time I got there, I never got that kind of speed out of Tesco diesel.
Every day I notice something else about the way the engine runs or sounds that convinces me Tesco diesel is just SOOOO bad for our trucks.

I`ve used Shell extra for a couple of years and now I`m on the 2nd tank of V power in the Rodeo and won`t be using owt else, (in the Jag or our lasses Fiesta either) well worth the 6p a litre more, good stuff. Very Happy

Millers Power sport 4 has cetane improvers.

I presume the combustion enhancer `Veggi-Boost` from Goat Industries has improvers in.
I used it when I was running a Hilux on veg.

Does it work like the octane boost they put in the imprezas, a mates wouldnt run right without and lost loads of bhp without it ?

120+ outta a 3.0td you must hav been well into the red line if ya cud get it to rev that high without it going BANG  Rolling Eyes  Confused

Tesco's are reported to be the garage running the highest percentage of Bio in their Diesel... I always find the 3.0 runs like a pig on Tesco juice.

im sticking to shell, even tho asda and tesco are about 5p/litre cheaper, the V Power to dear at the moment so i just stick to the ordinary stuff

red x do a  addivtive £14 treats 50l and helps maintain your engine once every 3000 mile does the same i think
