Okay Marks and Keiths  Confused

Checked all the levels this morning
Gbox  - OK
Tbox  - OK ( just thought I'd check it anyway  8) )
Engine oil - OK
Brake fluid - OK
Clutch fluid - OK
Power steering fluid - OK

So, by process of elimination, its got to be coolant. I just dont understand why it is gold in colour, unless it has something to do with the fact I "Gunk"ed the engine bay last week  Confused .

So, I've taken it for a drive, and left it running for a while, no sign of anything leaking  Evil or Very Mad  Evil or Very Mad .
This is one of those "sent to test me" things  Rolling Eyes .

Engine water can be rusty so can seem golden in colour get your chops round it and taste a bit sweeeet maaaan, if its golden also sounds like core plugs rotted and sealed itself with other rusty bits, but it want last long pot holes will knock it out and will leak again.  I do hope its a easy pipe or core to get too cheap and easy fix..

Okay, think I've found the source.

Between the Turbo and the block, and just behind the secondary oil filter is a housing that looks as if it could be some sort of filter housing ( I know it's not, but that's what it looks like). Out of the top of this housing comes a 1 inch (ish) rubber hose, which goes into the side of the block. The top end of this hose is wet, and showing sign of rust around it. There is no damp above this point. The only strange thing is, it's held on with the squeeze type clips, as opposed to jubilee clips  Confused . Oh, and it looks like a turbo off job to get to it  Shocked .

( Block is top left of photo, turbo is bottom right, housing is in the middle, and you can see where there has been water from the rusty colour on the rubber pipe)

I know that one well !!!

Just discovered that where this pipe comes out of the block, it looks like it comes out of the centre of a core plug, which looks a bit sorry. Fingers crossed  Confused .
