I have a 1995 Monterey 3.1TD LWB and it needs a new fuel tank...Milners tell me that there are two possible tanks...one with the breather to the front and one with the breather to the rear...Vauxhall tell me this is not so and there is only one tank but are unable to tell me where the breather is..The Vauxhall part munber is 97361179...Can anyone help me please
Cheers

Sadly the tank was a b......d to get out as some of the bolts were put in from the top ( presumably before they put the body onto the chasis ) and access was virtually zero...Having got the tank out we found that the overflow pipe pointed to the front and all the usual dealers could not supply this item....They all had the one with the overflow to the rear which also has the filler neck in a slightly different place...However the tank can be made to fit very easily by just altering the pipework very slightly....Vauxhall price for a tank £390 + vat local motorfactors £189 + vat
Job done with a bit of messing but well worth it
PS Radiators for sale on eebuygum for Trooper/Monterey diesel around £125 from Slick Parts in Manchester
Cheers
